Just too depressed to post.

Faulkner messed up big time.
His one misfield allowed a 1 to become a 2.
And his bowling was PATHETIC.

And Watson too.

Wow !! What an epic game!! This is the most extraordinary IPL match I have ever seen!!

Mumbai just looked out of it when Pollard got out, and Cooper was bowling those great first two overs.

But credit to Cory, Rohit, Rayudu, they just kept chipping away the runs.

The equation was always stiff, but never it went "completely out of hand". They never allowed Royals to bowl that 3 run over, which can completely suck the momentum out of the chase in such situation.. It was always tough though..100 odd of 40, 75 odd from 30, 67 from 24... Then it looked in favor of Mumbai when it was 20 from 9..but then Anderson missed a full toss from Tambe.. It was 9 of 3, 8 of 2, then 2 of 1, then Rayudu got out.. It was still 4 of 1.. Then Tare hit a six

Royals bowling was shambolic.. Short balls from watson, length balls from everyone, full tosses from Faulkner.. They deserved to loose, given their erratic changes in last 5 games.. How the hell can you leave Steve Smith out??

I dont particularly like MI.. I like Cory Anderson and Simmons, but thats about it.. I feel sorry for Karun, Rahane, Samson, Steve Smith...But that was a TRULY EPIC game!!

i dunno but THIS was a game that I ended up missing.. I mean THIS....

anyways.. RR were screwing it up from the get go.. with watto scoring at a snail pace and then giving away runs at a brisk pace.. others contributed to. It was RRs game to lose and they did it in style.

Well we have to suffer MI for another few matchs.. I hope priety zinta's team gives them the royal finger soon. grrrrrr

I missed a good one. Very similar to the WT20 qualifier match with the Dutch.

Good for Anderson to show up.

Faulkner just needs to bat at 6 and bowl maybe one over a game. That way his plus minus is more in his favor.

Rajasthan got exactly what they deserved.

Now Playing:
If I hold a gun to your head for Tests next year ...
If I hold a gun to your head for entire next year

Faulkner is the next Watson. Totally useless with bowl, and not good enough with bat.

Match looked fixed to me. I can't believe Faulkner would bowl so many full-toss lollypops.

Believe it. Faulkner is a rubbish white-ball bowler. He has "variations" but he's very pickable and doesn't land them consistently. Just pretend he's Darren Sammy except a) whiter and b) louder and you'll get a much better approximation of his capabilities in T20.

My problem with the whole thing was that RR just needed to bowl a wide to "allow" MI to win and qualify for the next round.

Instead a full toss lollypop went out of the ground. Highly unbelievable.

Yep. Missed a great game. Stupid over confident RR paid the price. Mumbai does not belong and should be kicked out fast

They reached thus far itself is a great achievement given they have stars like NOHit Sharma and sans slinga.. They will be weeded out in no time.. (Yes I am trying to piss off ankur who is MI fan from what I can recall).

Nope. Mumbai needed to be on 191 in 14.3 overs.

When Rayudu got out, they were on 190 in 14.3 overs.
A wide ball would have taken them to 191 in 14.3 overs, not 14.4, and MI would have qualified.
