2nd ODI: England v Sri Lanka, Chester-le-Street, 25th May

Postby TedWard » Sun May 25, 2014 8:58 am

Can we keep this thread on topic this time - the last thread was almost nothing but masti.

Anyway, this game is likely to be rain affected.

England in May

And Cook has been dropped, good decision by Moores.

I dont believe in this phantom groin injury thing for a second.

His batting isnt up to the short format and his captaincy brings nothing to the table.

He wont be missed.

Morgan to lead - even though his form has been pretty poor too.

England 46/4 - bring back Cook I say. England need someone to steady the innings. Too fragile at the moment. The moores experiment has failed.

46/5 just goes to prove my point.

Poor bopara. He used to be better than Clarke.

Does anyone outside of the Yorkshire Cabal think Root should be playing international cricket?

Will anyone else post in here?

All out for 99 - glad to see Giles bringing England back to its traditional ways.

Bet the atmosphere is great in the changing rooms, don't speak out about the loss though - not if you want to keep your place in the team.
