360 degree switch bowling

During a recent match a left-arm spinner tried something that had viewers spinning, literally. The bowler does a 360 degree turn before delivering. Unfortunately for the bowler the umpire called it a dead ball.

if switch hit is legal i say switch bowling also should be legal.

the game is too batsman favoring.

that ball should not have been called a dead ball.

i want batsmen surprised for a change.

I see no reason for that to be a dead ball in the existing rules.

As long as he stated which arm he is using, as required to do under the rules, then the delivery is legitimate subject to wides and no balls.

They're trying to claim it is "unfair". I disagree. The bowler is making himself dizzy doing this.

This is much more unfair:

I'd ban the latter and keep the former.
Elite honesty:
At the toss Faf said to Finch that you lads can bat - Finch replied "no, no we can't-we really can't".

Finch then saw Travis Head and Darcy Short start put on sun screen and said "Getting a bit optimistic aren't you?"
