But he's still in 26th position on the alltime list.

Next target, Gavaskar.

Well Done.

If they can continue, Smith & Kohli can break the record of Bradman.

It is nice to find 11 Indian batsmen figure in the top 100 list. I am pleased to see that Vishwanath and Vengsarkar figure in the list. I am even more pleasantly surprised to find Gambhir and Sahwag in the list.

Indian bowling has traditionally been quite weak. That reflects in the bowling list where only 8 Indian bowlers figure. I am pleasantly surprised to find that Ashwin and Jadeja are the highest ranked among aal Indian bowlers of all time. Among the fabulous four spinners, only Bedi figures, but at quite a lowly position. Nevertheless, I am pleased to note that Kapildev, Kumble, Vinoo Mankad and Gupte make it to the list- only one pacer, while rest are spinners.

Well, Tendulkar is at a surprisingly low ranking....so that's something!

Tendulkar's ODI exploits (esp Sharjah, and much later that 97 against Pak in the 2003 World Cup - when he had a zillion chances) truly bumped up his image.

Otherwise, in Tests, his performance was below potential. In other words, he was capable of a 60+ average - ended up under 55.

Pls dont mention Smith and Kohli in the same sentence as Bradman.

Small request.

Yes the 99.94 average won’t ever be beaten.

My Don Bradman cricket guy smashes fours and sixes on the easiest difficulty setting and scores consecutive doubles and triples and I can only manage to get him to average 85!

Request granted

I didn't compare. I just mention the point difference. Close enough and can be beaten :)
