AHHH SPOOKY!

I left my TV on the BT Sports Page (which was blank as I don't have the subscription) filled out the form online and paid the £20.

TEN SECONDS after I clicked 'Confirm' the channel turned on!!

Free for three months! :D Then I'll just cancel my subscription after the Ashes.

I shan’t enjoy the BT cancellation fee nor the emotional ramifications of ignoring my girlfriend for the duration of the series but I shall reap the rewards of good Test cricket!

Just under 2.5 hours to go now until tv coverage starts.

Some years nine put together something special for opening day of intl summer.
Law 31.6 - benefit of the doubt for an dismissal appeal goes to the batsman
A third umpire call for a run out or stumping is a referral, not a review.

Yeh close now Paddles. CA just cant say goodbye to their pet Maxwell. He has been sent for to cover for Marsh or Warner who are both under an injury cloud for Test hit off this morning.

It's on the protected list in Australia, which means those Sports on the list have to be shown on Free to Air.

Weather in Brisbane today is OK, we should get a start on time but there is heavy cloud around and a Afternoon shower is a real possibility.

They are now saying the injury issue was Marsh all along, probably to save face for picking the most injury prone Specialist Batsman in history.

And this year what did we get Warne & Pietersen :furious: wouldn't be surprised if there is a major shakeup with the 9 commentary team next year, a lot of criticism about the all male makeup.

Maybe best to just agree to a 4-0 drubbing by England and call it all off?
Still better than the 5-0 drubbing if we go ahead and play.

In the meantime, maybe read this piece on the Bodyline series that appeared on my Twitter timeline.
It is a bit more nuanced than the usual "Australia lost because Larwood bowled bodyline" narrative.

Raja,Raja, Raja where are you hiding today, you seem to be missing. Still think it's going to be 5-0.

Whom you think will play tomorrow if Shaun also joins Warner ( stiff neck) in injury list and sits out.Smith sure Warner will play tomorrow.

Maxwell was called into the squad as cover, didn't play so went and smashed 278 for Victoria in the Shield instead.

Having read through our early posts I think we were pretty spot on with our predictions.

Not all of them, true. I’ll happily admit Malan was a big surprise for me, and I thought Broad would have had more success even on a losing side.

I had hoped perhaps foakes would have had a run once the ashes had been lost. And I’m still loathed Crane got selected.
