Tremors in English cricket?

Postby raja » Thu Feb 22, 2018 2:07 pm

Ok, I'm exaggerating a bit  , but just came across this piece - and was wondering whether this is the beginning of something big.

If more England players begin to go the Rashid route, we might lose some promising names to Test cricket.
I know I shouldn't start celebrating just yet, but there's what could be loosely considered to be a gleam in my eye.

On second thoughts, I think I'm being a bit harsh here.
It's not fun to see a second-string England side lose in Tests.
Except for the Ashes, England should always play its best XI.
With the Ashes it's different - results matter, and I don't see England losing an Ashes series at home if they play their best XI.

looks like a preplanned excuse for future losses ready made.
