Shourey, this one is for you.
You must be delighted that your favourite Indian cricketer's book is out now.
Did he give you credit in the Foreword?
Will you be getting a signed copy?

I was going to lament the days when cricketers were bright enough to write their own books but I imagine that didn’t really happen at any time. I think even Harold Larwoods serialised newspaper articles were ghosted

One cricketer who wrote his own books was Sunil Gavaskar. And he wrote well.

Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi also wrote well but he did not get any books published.

:lmao:

I missed his era. I'd been so intensely watching every game of WG, Lohmann, Briggs and co, and then a bit later Ranji, Fry, Hill and co, leading onto Armstrong, McDonald & co, that by the late 1920s, I was a bit exhausted, and took a break.
