Why are you quoting Sanskrit?
I too can quote in 10 different languages.
Delete all non English ones if you cannot provide translation or offtopic.
The minute you deviate from topic you accept that you erred in judgment as seen by above confirmation.

Nope.. sanskrit shloka 1 has 2 meanings.. but the most obvious one is,

Donation suites the hand not the bangles. (From valmiki ramayana rama lakshman conversation).

You can understand the hidden meaning of that english translation line in two different ways and take your pick

And the second shloka was translated first and then the sanskrit given and that was by chanakya.

Of course I hate every estabilishment in india (not india the country) since 1947 historically and 1970 (that is perhaps when I started to "notice" things consciously). Yesh..

I rememer telling that I was not hesitant to shut up BJP idiots shouting slogans by twisting their own slogan against them.. so I am not a "closet" hater at all.. OPEN and proud to be one.

And it is certainly not OFF topic at all.. it is about the noise being made by various Indian outlets to show the world.. oh look how great we are.. look what a good job we are doing and to that the arguments fit perfectly IMO. You are welcome to disagree.

I find it annoying. Exactly like the crap you do on cricket threads. I lost interest now. Enjoy yourself.

Relax, guys!

Surely we are allowed to disagree with each other without stifling speech?

Like GS said, let's agree to disagree.

Most important is that Nepal gets the help it needs - whether we agree or not on how India is projecting its role/contribution.

The 5th point here is just mischief, in my opinion.
Wonder what GS has to say about this.

My guru used to say.

Ankh mein anjan, daant mein manjan,
Nit kar, Nit Kar, Nit kar.
Kaan mein khujli, Gand mein ungli,
Mat kar, mat kar, mat kar..

If you read this, written by a Nepali person, you see that the criticism is against Indian MEDIA, not against Indian Govt.
In fact, the Indian Govt has been thanked.

It is the Indian Media that is just insufferable at the moment. They sensationalise everything - for them even a human tragedy is an opportunity to boost TRPs.

Sushma Swaraj is a very homely lady.. EVEN after all her high profile job and position, aparantly, she has a very homely outlook towards her family and others who face the daily problems of a family life. Only a person who cares for her own family in person can have such an understanding of a person looking for a near and dear and take it upon herself to do whatever is in her power to help out.. It is not MINISTER swaraj but the Woman, Mother, Sister and Wife in her that worked and that feeling she has managed not to murder and instead nurture inspite of her busy workload.

Kudos lady.. You are a pride to all the women out there.

While this was not reported all that widely and perhaps at the request of SS, today there was a news item about nina gupta (even taking her name in this context is blasphemy but I cannot help). The item says "Nina gupta was ahead of her times when she decided to have the baby with viv".

I was amazed.. not being able to keep her legs together is a hallmark of a liberated woman? I mean it is her choice to sleep with who ever she feels like and have a baby or not.. but advertising it and glorifying it is entirely another matter. Even USA or west indies where viv hails from, does not encourage having babies after indiscriminate orgies.

Another news tidbit that I am unable to find the source for so consider it heresy.

An indian diplomat apparently was stopped by traffic monitoring feller/cop in nepal. He responded to him "go take care of the earthquake and find ways to get out of that trouble first before trying to stop me" and added 'why don't you run behind chinese vehicles" or something like that.

Purely heresy but thought might as well tell it you guys as you we are a close group.
