In this match I was supporting Afghanistan, so I was jinxing Bangladesh. :-)

Sorry, Leo. Against any other team, I'd support Bangladesh, but this is Afghanistan - new at this level, with likeable players too.

It's like having babies.
The parent dotes over the first baby. Then the second one comes along, the first gets a bit ignored, as all the doting is for the second.
Then a third comes along, and all the attention shifts to the third.

With me too, it has been like that.
First Pakistan. Then Bangladesh came along, so it became my fav team. Now Afghanistan has come, so Bangladesh moves to second place. :-)

Wow, you know me very well, don't you?

I think I would support Ireland in every game they play, unless it is against Afghanistan.
For the moment, Afg is my favourite.

In fact I was supporting Ireland during that Test against Pakistan.

My dream though is for Ireland and Afg to thrash BCCI in a Test series.
Not going to happen - but I can dream, can't I?

Lovely to watch this short interview of Rashid Khan.
For those who don't understand Hindi:

He talks about how he started with cricket - apparently he learnt it at home, playing with his brothers.
They would bowl leg spin too, and not too badly - the difference was he was much quicker.

He says he watched Kumble & Afridi and tried to bowl like them'.
