Sorry guys, was out for a couple of days, didn't log in.

This looks like a very interesting game - right now, Aus 70, Bangladesh 30.

Credit to Warner - we kept saying he's an FTB, but he's proven us wrong, grinding runs in these difficult conditions.

Credit to Smith and Handscomb too.

So will Bangladesh, now on the back foot, manage to save this Test?

Or will we see the Bangladesh we saw till 2016?

I do like Bangladeshes chances of saving the game, pitch is a road and there at home. All this rain weatherman Katto predicted could even be a washout :lmao:

Warner didnt prove us wrong, the criticism was fair.
He's changed/improved his game since.

I'm not disagreeing with your assessment per se, but Agar has had a good tour.

Darts took Jadeja to number 1 in the world rankings. Of course he only bowls in Asia these days, but still.

Agar and O'Keefe are only there due to location, you'd have more fancied Hazlewood, Starc and Pattinson in the mix back home.

Playing both Maxwell and Cartright does shed light on the Khawaja issue - great at home, crap against spin.

But Agar has had a good tour. Better than many expected I bet.

Its not that bad, I've seen worse.
The middle order is pretty weak though. From Maxwell down to Wade you have dominoes.
Handscomb is iffy but he's a young player improving. Agar is a project player and is only playing because its Bangladesh in Bangladesh. He's been okay.

Cummins if he can stay fit (that's a big if) could be one of the greats.

The problem Australian cricket has had in recent years is no stability in the batting order. Its almost a new line up every series.
They need to fix the Sheffield Shield scheduling and fix it fast otherwise we'll continue to fall down the rankings.

The Sheffield Shield is no longer preparing our players for international cricket. The only thing preparing them for international cricket is international cricket. Brendan Julian got that spot on.

this Bangladesh team fight hard, they take after their captain

82 lead. 2 wickets in hand. at most go for 100 lead for day 5. barring miracular collapse by aussie team (possible) the game is favoring australian win. man do they make this sweat it out? kudos.

Congrats, Australia.

Disappointing show from Bangladesh - they're better than this.

Past Bangladesh sides would've collapsed like this - this one has raised the bar.

Anyway, good series, with both teams having their moments.

Lyon - wow!

He won't find home wickets anywhere close to being as helpful as here, but if he can gain in confidence from this fantastic tour, that's a big plus.

Do you think Maxwell should play in the Ashes?

At least in one Test?

He's got that X factor, you know.

Lyon's record in Australia is pretty good
not at every venue, but there's a few that suit his bowling

This Chittagong pitch didnt turn much in the first innings and Lyon took 7 wickets. He actually does better on pitches that dont turn much because he's such a big spinner of the ball, natural variation gets him wickets rather than a bag of tricks.
