Yes apologies I got confused.

Meanwhile cricinfo have referenced this math:

http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/1654 ... ?appsrc=sc

What a game for Chris Lewis! Capable of brilliance but all too often unfulfilled is, I understand, the view of his career.

Yes they will get another 50 for sure but WI's Fielding MUST NEED TO IMPROVES plus their bowling coach need to spends more time on NO BALL, BOWLERS RUN-UPS etc
I think Gabriel hold the record in most no ball in test cricket.i may wrong

They looks stupid innings after innings during other than batting , even county team or Club team Fields better than them.

Westindies vs England
Westindies vs Australia

40 no ball, each per both above tests, still world record.
Long list

Morkal I think most un-lucky bowler with most wicket with the NO BALL in test cricket

Mo and Woakes put on 100 partnership, Mo out for 84. highest successive chase here by Australia I guess 403 in the 4th innings in 1948

A.Morris 182 and Bradman 162 put on 301 on day 5 here at Leeds

No wicket in that short bowling period, however from listening to TMS it sounds like it was doing all sorts.

9 dropped catches by WI plus no ball wickets morkal sort of problem

Malan,Root, dropped at wrong time, even Mo says we are in good position because of MALAN.
I so say because BOYCS do not like him in the team

There goes the first wicket.

Powell.

This Windies side is seriously short on quality.
I'll be glad if they can just put up a fight in each game, even if they're sure to go down.
At least don't do a BCCI2011.

Raja/Boyce
3 hours left I doubt England can bowl 60 overs in 180 plus 15 minutes without Crane
Who completing over in 145 seconds plus Mo in and Off the field, oftenly.anderson toothless since some dropped catches off him.Broad I can not trust, 8 more wickets
In 3 hour on such wicket big question mark?

There's quite a lot of colour on these West Indies kits.
They remind me of the 1979-80 one day strips the Windies wore here that summer.

K.Barthwaite and SL.Hope super hero for westindies they reminds me Morris and Bradman stand here on day 5 at Leeds :301 runs partnership on day 5 beating poor England

England wasting time in between each over, reminds me, India chasing big score vs eNG in ENG, English keeper Field the ball to the bountry by purpose to waste time India finished 429 for 8 India were 9 runs short of victory.

This two hope/KG.Braithwaite put on 386 so far ,over all in this tests in two innings.
Mo 14/0/37/0 I wonder why he is Off the field every 15 minutes?

199 for 3 at tea

Barthwaite missed 100 by 5 runs 134 / 95.WI need 123 more in 35 overs, new ball due
After 20 overs, match very interesting.Body Language of English captain telling he loose hopes on saving test

Hope/kB 246
Hope/KB 142
===========

388 in the match, must be record in top 10 partnership by two certain batsman in single
Test.I think Dravid/Tendulkar Or Peterson/Gower scored big stand multiple times.

Once again it was Moeen Ali who got the breakthrough.

It is this sort of thing that will never get reflected in stats but those in the know, must recognise as important in assessing a player.

Later generations will probably only look at stats. We should know better.

Now that one wicket has saved England from otherwise certain defeat.

Do you think its okays for spinner to ON and OFF the Fields for every 15 minutes? That is what Mo doing today must be suffer cramps or some other fitness issue bothering him.

Its kind of entertaining seeing England under pressure in a match they were expected to win.
Frowns appear around the field and they keep trying to get the ball changed :)

They waste time in changing field and look around Root just like his close relatives lost in Texas flood.

India were close to win but their keeper, Johnny's Dad (Barstow)not let India to win because he Fields the ball upto bountry line although he had great début with crucial knock of 59 in the second innings on vs Us.

77 to win with new ball due in 7 overs interesting, sometime you loose wicket with new ball but if you are Ishant or MS as captain, you give 34 in 3 overs with new ball.

Johnny Barstow is good gentleman cricketer but his dad was typical cunning Englishman. No Wonder why his test career over with in 7 test innings.

What a catch by 20 year substitute mason Crane!!
I can not jump like that, at 62

Chase gone now WI problem starts because if you loose wicket before new ball due, its very difficult for new batsman vs Anderson.

So Kyle hope run out, I am stunned to know that.20 over 76 runs : India or Aus can do but Leo is right, minors like WI and BD not win test matches regardless of how good situation they are In.

Hope has a nice cover drive, I'll be happiest if England win but he gets his century.

He would be the first player in the history of FC cricket to score two centuries in the same match at Headingley. Not Test cricket, all FC cricket.

That surprises me, surely Boycott did it at his home ground :D

Sanat Jayasurya only player with 2 century in ODI at Headingley but 109 century scored in test here but no one hits century in each innings in same test, yes but Bradman probably hits 2 Triple century here in separate tests 334 and 304*.

Hope 100 not out who hits 147 in the first innings.century in both innings in history of FC in 127 years congratulations!!

I'm glad West Indies made a match of it, even if they lost in the end.
This was an honourable defeat.
Chasing 321 for this inexperienced West Indies team was always going to be a tough ask, against arguably the best bowling attack in the world, that too in their home conditions.
That they came so close is very creditable.

Proud of Shai Hope, Brathwaite and the others, though they ended up on the losing side.
