Pattinson out for side strain but Australia very keen to selects two player from Travis Heads Australia A if tour possible.

Not good for cricket (tri series) we won because AFG A weak team but India A deserves
Credit because southafrican attacking batsmen Struggling vs Axar and Chahal in whole series.Manish scored over 400 in few matches.

I wish Australia good luck in India too, 3 ODI and 3 t20.in 2017

No O'Keefe. No Smarsh. No MMarsh.

Khawaja in a spin zone. Cartwright and Maxxy on tour together.

Be interesting how Straya select the team from here
If any moderator or administrator is able to add Going South to my foe list, I would greatly appreciate it.

Khawaja has to warm up bench otherwise because Asia.ha
71 runs he scored in SL in 5 test innings.(2011 and 2016)

Handscombe trying to get Wade sacked?

stupid comments

Australia are likely to go in with two specialist spinners and Maxwell, but could consider the option of three genuine spinners if the pitches favour spin from the outset. To open that spot, Maxwell's Victorian team-mate Peter Handscomb could be asked to keep wicket. Matthew Wade is the designated wicketkeeper in Australia's squad for Bangladesh.

"I guess it's an interesting one. I was doing some white-ball keeping for Yorkshire in England as well," Handscomb said. "Ultimately I'm happy to do it if it's good for team balance, if it opens up another position for a batter or a bowler to come into the side. But first and foremost I've always said that batting is my No.1."

Cricinfo says yesterday, RONY TALUKDAR getting ready for Australia with highest run Aggregates in Bangladesh's domestic cricket, but unfortunately his name even missing from,Preliminary Squad.

I wonder when BD announce their team, Anyway home team always announces team late.

Feels like ages since Australia last played Test cricket. Too long a break?

Looking forward to this series.
Expect it to be close - key is how the Aussies deal with Bangladesh spinners.

I do not know the reasons but AUSTRALIA will not playing practice match before test match
Two day game was stage as practice match

May be not get security clearance for the ground
May be they wants to go for shopping / Spends more
May be BD not wants them to get used to,for BD

Sorry for the inconvenience :)

It is rainy season in Bangladesh. So there is every chance that rain will play spoilsport in the series.

Hell with rain
Lyon need 3 more to beat R.Beanud, he will be 8th Australian with 250 test wickets.

both Tamim and Shakib's 50th test today, later on [ Bashar, Ashraful, Rahim also reached milstone of 50 test for BD]

Also ten out of 9 times in SL, always rains after tea, in test matches or about same in BD but I think we are playing too many test matches now, SL debut in test in only 2000 but till date they played 800 ODI plus lot test matches, even banger already played 100 test.

Regardless of weather and venue BCCI now doing same.

Bangladesh have their two best batsmen in making merry hay. This is how we're gonna wish the ashes boys, let mighty Iqbal and shakib beat the enthusiasm out of these Australian bowlers. Then they will quake in their boots at the mere mention of "David Malan"......

I haven't been following the cricket much but what happened to O'Keefe? He was Australia's best bowler in India, almost won them the most unlikely series and he is a much better bowler then Agar, blokes left arm shit.

I agree Agar is pretty shit, but they're probably looking to the future and using him in this series to get experience in SC conditions
he's still young

not saying I agree with strategy, but that's probably how they think

Lyon is no Jason Gillespie who had an excellent defensive technique to spin

Lyon doesn't count, so it's effectively 18/2.
This series will be all about Australia's batting.
I have confidence in their bowling, can't say the same about their batting.
Having said that, Khawaja was run out, so no credit to Bangladesh bowlers.

Aussie batting has been their achilles heel during the Clarke/Smith eras
they've always had a good bowling attack apart from a brief period during Ponting's rebuild

thats why they lose matches and win matches, but dont save matches very often

10 for 3
160 odd for 3
No credit to home team?

18 for the lose of Warner is full credit to BD , DW out = 5 down

congratulation Lyon for 250 test wickets but I think he gave too many runs 79.
Fine 71 by Tamim and 84 by Shakib
