Southafrica should prepare wicket which not help Indian spinner because Mo took 20 wickets in this series jee he is leading wicket taker

I think he is not that good bowler but SA Lack technique to play him.

190/8 England chipping away and Broad rids us of de Kock leaving nothing but bowlers to feast on. Jimmy hunting for his 5-for

nice spell from Anderson, but again I cant get over how insipid South Africa are, and the general lack of passion in this series.
SJWs will probably say what a great series it was and how it was played in good spirit...its been played with no spirit.

Cook and Westley have gone but Jennings is still there desperate to make some runs and root is there as his usual busy self.

England will want a 300/350 lead minimum.

No wonder why Root says Jennings is best opener in England among youngster,he played 57 balls at this wicket were Anderson wants to bowl again as soon as possible.

England lost Jennings , Malan and Root (49)

Root bowled one run short of yet another 50 just missed by 1 shot -1 run in beating John Edrich 11 score of 50 in 10 consecutive test but yes he Equal Edrich but not able to beat him,he still has chance in next test.

Paddles,
You can convert 1 shot for something in cricket if Hales hits one shot more he beat Gayles Fastest T20 record yesterday
If Johnny hits one shot he reaches 100 yesterday

Lead 373 as broad goes. Three boundaries off the first over. I wonder if they'll let Moeen have a crack at a rapid hundred before declaring with a lead of 400.

Jimmy wanders out. South Africa will have other plans.

Morkel really is a tall collection of lanky limbs and hinges isn't he. He reminds of of a Terry Pratchett charicature of a tall person.

Rain came and swept off the South African batsman the moment they walked out.

This is a proper storm coming down now. Might be off for a hour or so.

I'm off to work in 30 minutes anyway. Never mind. Still have day five if this day gets heavily curtailed.

You must need 3 includes Elgar today because he can bats session plus easily, once the momentum towards England than day 5 before tea could be all over (includes more rains)

3/1

Kuhn's mini test career over as Anderson gets him easily
18 for 2 I doubt Kuhn resumes vs US in SA, they have 4 others from their domestic who can bats there

Bavumas dismissal last ball before Lunch off Roland Jones only possible because Broad was sure of, he insist Root to take that reviews.I expect England to take 3 before close but hey do you think SA survives on day 4 now?

AMla and FAF need to bats outstanding innings to level series, at least gives some fights

KaTto,
Its boring better to watch Roy's (ind.U19) spin at Cardiff vs engU19 than live game at Oldtrafford.(eng 62 for 0, 162 for 7.A.Roy 10/1/30/4)

=====+=
Stephen Cook likely to return in southafrican cricket team vs India as Kuhn most unlikely to retain, same story for MALAN of England he has to go back, no place for him for WI series.

Half chance R.Jones on c and B.

Faf 44*
AMla 83*
better stand so not worst team

162 for 3
218 more need to square series.

That man Moeen again.
Batted very well - and now, just when SA might have harboured faint hopes of levelling the series, he dashes those hopes by breaking the crucial century partnership of Amla-Faf.

Moeen's stats aren't too bad right now, but I maintain that stats don't do justice to his value to the side.

Root says '' Mo has ability to do something so quickly when its matter most"
This s test cricket ----why we need to ask 3rd umpire to ask on most dismissal, Ground umpire not need to scratch their ball any longer.

Is in it Aug 7th,?
Shortest test innings in Ashes? 18.2 overs Australia 60 all out.Anderson rested with Broad took 8 for.

I think NZ batted more overs when they were 26 all out in test than 18.2 overs of australian innings in England.
