Amla and de kock aren't exactly soft but I take your point that South Africa had exposed their underbelly in that innings

Mo now has a batting average of 35-odd and a bowling average of 36-odd.
Started the series with a 40+ bowling average.

Btw, he now has 123 from 41 Tests, EXACTLY the same number of wickets as the South African allrounder Trevor Goddard in same number of Tests.

Goddard has a vastly superior bowling average, and a similar batting average (batting in times when 34 was a respectable average).

Just shows how good Goddard was.

Yes Goddard in my Draft. jadeja 155 in 32 test but he is suspended for Pallakele test (Aug 12)

Mo with 2179 runs DBL than jadejas 1000 plus (best of 90 with 8 half ) vs Mo's 5 century.

I will back England to win the Ashes if they get Woakes back.

They have a solid lower order batting lineup

6. Stokes
7. Bairstow
8. Moeen Ali
9. Woakes

Then they can play Broad and Anderson/ Toby Roland at 9 and 10

If they can get their top order to work they can become nr. 1 again. Except Cook and Root the other 3 really sucks.

Hope we will never see Balance again.

IPL money kills his inner being, but he returned now in county cricket to proves himself.
Frankly speaking, he killed himself, in IPL, with nagging back problem.

Both England and Australia has their own weakness, hard to say, who will beat who?

They starts to repair on Aug,17th.ECB more superiors in the comparison of BCCI, whose nagging problem in open the innings continues one after another innings since SMG retires.

Stonehan's maiden calls for test début vs WI in place of Baby face Jennings,m. Crane also selects for test so no place for poor Finn but freaking MALAN still there. No Balance but Woakes returns.

So KatTo,
Ecb wants to pre pare well before Ashes.M.Stoneman 30 year old, he will be Cooks 12th opening partner since Andrew Strauss retired from the test cricket.
