Just a bit of fluid on the elbow and I'm out of Meds.

First hours not the problem, Renshaw and Smith, if they go early then we have problems. :rj:

Good Luck

In case of India, no wish is needed for them :)

Too many weak links..some of us do not perform well under pressure. You would think that with Captain Cool as inspiration that those weak links would perform when things got hard. Guess you are born with it. Unless Smith once again pulls out something special and he has support I see this finishing by tea.

We need to just hang in there.
I see a draw as the most likely result if we survive the first session.
But then we should not have lost even one wicket.

I genuinely think Australia will make mincemeat of this timid attack.

Australia need my support at this juncture.

If this 2 can survive up to lunch than there is a possibility. Both Smith and Renshaw are in form currently. So, it can be expected. Wicket is still not that helpful for bowlers.

Matter of patience.

BCCI super dumb to schedule test cricket at Dharamshala, track suits great for Stoinis/Haze/Cummins but I think Australia will not try Bird because both Bird and Haze similar sorts of bowler.
Aug.18 WI were 61 All out:Caddick took 4 wickets in one over, TWO day test.

Even get the Gabba to start turning square if you start with the equiv of a 3rd day pitch.

That was an awful leave from Smith.
Terrible judgment.

And with Renshaw gone too, it's looking very bleak right now.

That's the thing with Jadeja. He's SO accurate, it's like "you miss, I hit".
He's at you ALL the time.
That itself puts a lot of pressure on the batsman, not to mention the turn he sometimes surprisingly gets.
Often there's no turn at all - so the batsman is always guessing.

Ishant's celebration of Renshaw's wicket is scary.
When you pick one wicket per match, I guess you can be excused this.

Our two rocks survived an hour and a half and 152 balls. That is the test match to India. :crybaby: Renshaw has fallen to pace and again it is Ishant. Marsh could have gone first ball..wake up .

Turned on Sky to hear ".... another probing over from ishant sharma"

I will email sky sports to advise that they are having technical difficulties.

63/4 looks worse than it is, because there's a Lyon in there.
There's still batting to come - Maxi, Wade, SOK, Hazlewood, Cummins can all bat.

This is where Shaun Marsh has to step up. He did hang around in Bangalore - can he do it again?
Big ask though.

This is a big test of technical skill for both these two batsmen. Both reasonably new and what an opportunity to make a name for oneself. Like raja said it's a tough ask looks like batting is very tough out there at the moment. Bowlers other than ishant are bowling with guile

Ishant is rubbish.
The only reason he gets the odd wicket is that he surprises the batsman with one that seems to be on the stumps.

at least with Maxi coming in next there's an air of unpredictability about the aussie batting

when it was Mitch Marsh, you knew what you were going to get every time...and that wasnt very much

I dont hold much confidence in Maxi batting on this last day though

These Aussies have guys like Umesh for breakfast every day.
Why would you bowl Umesh at this stage?
He's been terrible today anyway. Very erratic.

That was the worst review in the history of reviews.
Even as he was reviewing it, Kohli shrugged his shoulders.
He knew it was a nothing-review.

I did say Kohli's captaincy will get exposed today.
For a guy who was India-U19 captain all those years ago, he shows surprising lack of maturity on the field.

Bowling Ishant and Umesh when it should be Jadeja and Ashwin.
Then taking that review.

Might be very expensive.

Good effort by Australia to draw this Test after the tricky position they were in earlier today. What's Ashwin averaging this series?

These two are not rolling over. Good to see. Is a draw still on? :)

Handscomb has threatened several times after getting a fair start. Look how much more comfortable against spin he looks than SOS (Marsh).

Marsh is the L/H Baggers he's the one copping the rough outside the off stump, its definitely a bit easier for the R/H.

Excellent session for us.
Very well played, Handscomb and Marsh.
Keep going!
