Afghanistan 215 all out off 49.2 overs. A decent fifty from Stanikzai at a high 80s SR the only really meaningful innings. Not sure who Zimbabwe have in their line up these days but I expect they'll overturn the total

That's either a heft indictment of Zimbabwe as a nation with Test status, or a huge achievement for Afghanistan, or probably both.

Did Zimbabwe send a full A team?

Well done Afghanistan

Easy win for Zimbabwe.
It's a long road ahead for Afghans to make it big in international cricket.
They need proper coaching from grass root levels.

I'd love to see Afghanistan take the series, but is this rain going to shift?

So is the match rained off? Or just a shower? Cricinfo doesn't say and I can't get access to a tv to see

We made stupid mistakes to lose two games. This should have been 5-0.

I have seen all games. I rate Ireland, Scotland, Netherland and the UAE are all stronger teams then Zimbabwe currently.

Thanks Raja.

Next is Ireland in India. 5 Odi's, 3 T20 and 1 very important 4 day match.

Then it's 5 ODi's vs West Indies.

Ak I was wondering if this win is a massive coup for Afghanistan but also an indictment of Zimbabwe, or a bit of both?

Do you know if Zimbabwe sent their full a team? Obviously great work by Afghanistan

Zimbabwe definitely sent the best players available to them.

I am not pleased with Afghanistan performance at all this series with the bat. We played very poorly and made some stupid mistakes. We were chasing 130, but no one took responsibility and everyone wanted to finish it with a six and ended up losing in epic fashion. We then got out 111 in the following match.

I was expecting us to beat Zimbabwe especially after our A team beat their A team 4-1. Our A team was full of debutants and their had several experienced players... 5-6 of them went on to play for Zimbabwe in this series as well.

Difficult to judge if we were good or Zim shit. I think a combination of both. We need some new batsmen. Our bowling is good enough, but batting need some work.

Are you expecting to lose to Ireland and West Indies?

Personally I'd probably expect Afghan to challenge Ireland but come off second best, and I'd put my money on West Indies. But then Ireland might struggle in foreign conditions and I think they've had a couple of retirements

I expect much more competition from Ireland then I expected of Zimbabwe. Ireland always have smart cricketers and somehow outsmarts us, so I won't talk before that series. However Ireland are in a rebuilding phase. Their best cricketers are getting old and new ones are playing for a place in the team.

We did draw an ODI series in IReland recently and beat them twice very comfortably at the desert T20's. Our team is more settled, so I do expect us to win the ODI and T20 series(Conditions should be in our favour).. The 4 day game can go either way.

The WI games. I don't know. Depends on who WI selects. I think we will struggle. Don't think we can go and win a series in the Caribbean. If we can win 2 out of 5 then it will be successful tour.
