Maxwells gone well, we'll see him in a presser in the next 24 hours with him talking about his Test ambitions, happens every time he does something.

I watched on TV in USA but India is very conservative country for that sorts of Fun,i doubt if he can spend money for Lap Dance unless someone gives him free entry to watch Old fashioned Drama or music concerts.

Maby Maxwells been told to give up the bowling and concentrate on his batting?

Ive been calling for that for years so hope so. His offspinners suck.

I dont like the part time off spin tactic, just easy runs IMO and Head will get punished in India.

Between Warner and Smith, Australia have two of the world's best batsmen right now.
They just need to be backed by the others.
You can't expect these two to fire everytime.

They are like Greenidge and Richards in 1976 in England. Just awesome.

Warner is certainly a consistently successful bat but his home/away comparison in tests is awful!

Agree. He has gone to a different level after gaining from his IPL experience with Sunrisers. Right, GS?

Ofcourse. Many international players did experiments to improve their game while playing for sunrisers. If U would never play certain shot in a real international match but will try it in IPL let the team lose & go to dogs mentality.

Smith is in a really purple patch. I don't remember him having 2 bad scores in a row for a long time now. In fact, I doubt he's got out for less than 50 in tests and ODIs for a while!

ODIs are hard enough for the bowlers to be dropping bullshit catches like they are.

Warner was dropped first ball, hard catch but it would have went straight to a 3rd slip. First ball of the game they didnt even have 3 slips.

Amir dropped a dolly 15 minutes ago.

So many miss fields..

Hope he gets double.

They are not going as quick as one would expect with 10 wickets in hand and 10 overs left.

Warner now features 4 times in the Top 10 ODI scores for Australia. I reckon by the time he retires he'll have 5+ double tons if ODIs keep going the same way.

Warner is a serious machine. Batting is off the scale in ODIs at the moment. Who'd be a bowler, e?

that wont bring crowds back

the masses want a contest as well as non-stop entertainment - ODIs are too predictable and too long

the traditionalists will always love the drama of test cricket, but these days, like road cycling, its an acquired taste for more mature folk

I think If they played 3 ODI and 2 T20's it would have been much better. Pakistan is way below Australia these days, so games are pretty onesided.

It'll help though, bowlers in ODIs in Australia and India are struggling to stay under 7 runs an over and theres always a blow out. Ali went for 110 runs today

Starc has very impressive career stats so far in ODI. If can maintain some economy and average and get 250+ wicket he will be strong candidate for all time team.

The best ODI matches are when a team scores 250 and manages to defend it. I love to see pitches where it's really hard to score. Not these batting paradises all the time. The IND v Eng series was just runs galore. Nothing for bowlers at all.

- Change field restrictions

- Ban big bats

- Get rid of Free Hit

- Put more spice in the pitches

- Go back to one ball for the 50 overs

I agree with this. But it will go the other way. In future the first ball of every over will be free hit

this pitch is actually quite green
there's only so much you can do within certain weather conditions

the other option is to overcook it, but then you'd have a tired pitch with no pace which is bad for any limited over cricket

I would do away with field restrictions in all forms of limited over cricket. They're no longer needed.
