Kohli at 42 centuries. Just 8 more to break Sachin and be the first to 50 ODI tons. What a great player!

Yeah - fitness won't be an issue for him. How long he keeps his eye, but given he is a technician, I think 8 years and 2 more World Cups is definitely in reach for him.

Which will give him 5 World Cup appearances. Sachin did 6, is this the record? Most likely. Akram probably did 5. Same for Ponting.

OOOH - I found the answers: I forgot about Javed.

Tournaments
Javed Miandad Pakistan 6 times 1975–1996

Sachin Tendulkar India 6 times 1992–2011

Jacques Kallis South Africa 5 times 1996-2011

Ricky Ponting Aus 5 times 1996–2011

Chris Gayle West Indies 5 times 2003–2019

Imran Khan Pakistan 5 times 1975–1992

Arjuna Ranathunga Sri Lanka 5 times 1983 - 1999

Sanath Jayasuriya Sri Lanka 5 times 1992 - 2007

Akram is also 5 - this list is not complete. Akram was 87 to 2003.

Many players appears in 5 world cup .I bet if pant improves, he might broke miandad & Sachins 6 times in wc appearances

Miandad
1975-79-83-87-92-96

Sachin
1992-96-00-03-07-11

Both SRT & Miandad not in 2015 wc but SRT scored over
2200 wc runs more than anyone

Kohli says his team need so he hits 3 figures but Stardum bothers him otherwise Smith likely to removes him from number 1 race in test

Kohli (922)
Smith (913)

Kohli (2017)must repeat his DBL in first test or century in both test

In coming series from next to next thursday.

I predicted 834 from Smith in
England - only 548 more
