Watch Captain America. Expected a cheap super hero movie, but was surprised. Its quite good.
Also tried to watch the first part of the final Herry Potter movie but got bored. This thing is not my cop of tea.

Re: Movies You've Watched (Part II)
I'm really bored of watching superhero movies. Hollywood has been churning out horrible superhero movies and remakes for a while now! Enough already!
There used to be a time when I would wish there were more superhero movies made... I can't stand watching anymore.

Re: Movies You've Watched (Part II)
GS ... can you list some Telugu movies that are worth watching?
Since I don't understand much telugu .. I would appreciate movies that are not too difficult to watch.
Here's a list of the movies I've enjoyed so far (whose names I can remember)...
1. Magadheera - only the scenes with the past stuff . I hated the masala stuff
2. Bommarrillu
3. Happy Days
4. Leader
5. Godavari
6. Arundathi

Re: Movies You've Watched (Part II)
here is the list I LIKED on very recent telugu movies.
Ala modalayindi - best of 2011 - at a marriages ex lover of boy and girl meet and become friends after a lot of twists and turns with lots of comedy they too fall in love.
rangam - came in tamil also. [politics]
maryada ramanna [how a city boy gets trapped in a faction village]
ready - original for hindi ready the better one.
brindavanam [hum apke hai kown type with southern fights and chases every 30 minutes]
Mr perfect [can a very perfect man love and live life with another perfectionist? good love story]
Key [no song, no fight or blood suspense thriller that keeps you guessing]
ahana pellanta - a boy and girl wake up on morning semi dressed on the same bed, semi dressed. both dont know each other earlier. lot of twists. a fultu comedy.
Khaleja [its a mahesh babu flop but i liked the concept]
nagavalli [part 2 of rajani's chandramukhi...an ok one]
golconda highschool [how an ex student saves a school by its cricket team reaching nationals - a must watch for cricket lovers]
kudirite kappu coffee [title meaning: if you got time how about a cup of coffee? you can guess the story...a good time pass]
KICK [what does a very very intelligent guy do in his own life to get kicks? a comedy action thriller - good time pass]

Re: Movies You've Watched (Part II)
bharathh, your turn now.
recommend me some good tamils ones.
I liked all karthi movies ...One-in-every-1000-years, that car-journey-to-mumbai trip one.
Did not like that ugly village one 2-guys-one-ex-king one aspire to be an actor though has one eye crooked. dont know the name.
heard dhanush got national award for a cock fight movie, forgot the name. might watch that one.
hated robo the kids movie.

This + a million!
The first one was awesome but the second was the same story just set in Thailand. So unfortunate that hollywood feels a need to milk more money from a sequel and in the process ruin the name of the series.

I'll wait for the DVD likely. I've listened to it (and the other two books) on CD and the first one is the best one. It'll be interesting to see what they change for the movies.

Re: Movies You've Watched (Part II)
Just watched and came back home now, as I got two tickets from a friend to the "premier" show of the movie "now you see me" thats going to be released next week.
http://www.moviefone.com/movie/now-you- ... 2/synopsis
Awesome movie in the mold of the great inception, a cheap man's version, but I take it any day over tons of run of mill boring movies we see nowadays.
If you like inception, its a must watch.
the movie goes in a "unpredictable" pace, dont want to give out details to spoil fun, go and watch it.

PS: not a big fan of Iron man though, wait for DVD $1 rental to watch in my home theater.

Just came back from watching the movie "Enders game". Beautiful concept and high technical values in the taking. There some similar scenes like gravity but lost track of time completely mesmerised by the richness !

Here is a fans take on should this classic be re-released in 3D?

I would wait for blu-ray 3D and buy it for home keeping.
I will see it once the crowds subside..
I have seen sholay 400 times but never in theater.. always on TV or DVD and still when it comes on any channel I watch it.. I can watch it a billion times.. I love the look and feel of the movie.. it is just unreal.
And 3D version arguably distracts from the story but I suppose having watched it so many time watching it in 3D would be fun.
