No wonder I could not guess Wilder.. can not bear him.

This large man played a host of B grade roles in a particular genre from the 40s into the 60s.

Take note ''particular genre". Borgnine played roles in all genres. This actor specialised in one genre.
He was the son of showbizz parents.. his father especially was quite famous. He had one feat that separated him from his peers.

The genre is horror.

Even the great Christopher Lee did not play all four horror characters. Missed out on the Werewolf I understand.

American character actor. Has voiced more animated features than any other actor. Went from a hit tv comedy into his defining comedic movie role. This film was set in the distant past. Liz Taylor had a cameo role in it.

This gravelly-voiced character actor went from Batman on television to playing alongside such movie giants as Clarke Gable , Marilyn Monroe (Misfits), Al Pacino (Godfather3) and Jack Nicholson (Two Jakes).

Mr. Freeze was played by George Sanders, Otto Preminger and Eli Wallach. Loved Batman tuned in every week to see who played the villain.

born Laszlo Lowenstein, debut in the German film M (1931), portraying a serial killer preying on little girls, which gave him some recognition. The onset of WWII he left Germany to go to England and Alfred Hitchcock cast him in a movie.

I will say the little bloke Peter Lorre. Lorre does not sound German.. Lowenstein does. Jewish I am thinking.. reason he fled Germany to escape the Nazis. That Hitchcock film was it the original Man Who Knew Too Much? I was thinking The Lodger but that was a silent years before he came to England.

I do not mind admitting the shows I watched as a kid.. Whirlybirds, Canonball, Sea Hunt (still watch ) Twilight Zone (still watch) Afred Hitchcock Hour and Presents (still watch) Robin Hood, Whats My Line, Dragnet,Superman, 77 Sunset strip all the Looney Tune cartoons (still watch). They are the shows I can recall. Plenty of others. Reason I still watch some of these as I went to a boarding school and our television viewing was very restricted so I missed a lot of episodes. Sometimes I get a nostagia trip. So go to my movie library and watch something from my childhood.
