Any Rajnikant fans here?
I cannot stand their stupidity. They've taken this to another level.
Watching movie at 5am? Jumping to death from the theatre roof after not getting show ticket?
Not being racist but is it a Madraasi thing?

Re: Any Rajnikant fans here?
It's a mega disaster flop movie. So much hype. Chennai Companies declaring holidays for this crap? People who booked advanced tickets for day3 want to return them but no buyers? Hahahahahaha. They compare it better than sultan & bahubali on collections etc but they at least have some content but this one is a disaster. Nobody seems to learn from kochadian & linga disaster lessons. All the buyers panic again. Yes. That's a Tamil thing.
Raja/Ravi/bharath might explain better than me, a gulti.

Re: Any Rajnikant fans here?
Guys, am not a diehard Rajini fan - the last Rajini film I saw was ages ago (Padaiyappa).
Haven't even seen Enthiran, which was quite popular.
But I will say this much.
Either you get Rajinikanth, or you don't.
He has a massive fan following in Tamil Nadu - in fact anywhere in the world where there is a Tamil population. For a reason.
I've seen reviews trashing the film - all of them missing the point.
Firstly, many of them have seen the Hindi version.
Watching a Rajini film made in Tamil but translated to Hindi, is not really giving the true impact of Rajini.
Granted that dialogues are fewer nowadays but even so, his dialogue delivery in Tamil, the dialogues themselves - you just can't do justice to this in Hindi. So obviously you will wonder what the big fuss is about.
Secondly, you don't look for mega plot in a Rajini film, you watch it just for the Rajini experience.
Any plot that you do see is just a bonus.
So those critics who are trying to find fault with the plot (it is too cliched, it is dragging on, whatever), miss the point.
Yes, if Rajini - in the Tamil version - doesn't give you the experience you expected, then yes, you have a point.
Another important thing in the whole Rajini craze, is his off-screen personality.
People just adore him for being a simple person - no airs whatsoever.
He doesn't even try to dye his hair or look particularly "smart". He is just himself.
Which is more than you can say for even born-yesterday Bollywood actors, forget the stars.
If you give me a choice between watching an Amitabh Bachchan movie and a Rajini movie, I will pick Rajini every single time.
Forget Amitabh, if you give me a choice between watching any current Hindi film actor - and Rajini, I will pick Rajini.
And mind you, I am not even a fan as such.
Imagine the real diehard fans.
So yes, 4.00 a.m tickets don't surprise me. :-)

I saw linga. Got a severe headache. Not going to be brave on this hyped crap movie. I am pissed off at state government offices declaring holiday for a private movie. Not that it's a good message or anything but a mafia masala run of the mill crap.

What? State govt offices also? I thought it was only private companies.
State govt offices have no business declaring it a holiday!
