France is next, expected lockdown this weekend, followed by Spain.
India locked down Myanmar border, heavy restrictions on foreigners entering India to fill special forms after many Italian tourists tested positive. Travel to USA is even more tougher. Say no to cruise lines that bring foreign old people, high target.

So far no death in India 'cause of Covid-19, but 22 dead in usa really Surprised me.Asian Indian Grocery store almost empty as people increase their Food stock.i heard in boston & NJ area Bottel water, Toilet tissue sold out with-in hour.

I read in TOI country Australia people bought toilet tissue from all stores as emergency caution so daily newspaper print out 6 blank (white) paper pages daily as you can use them as option, better than nothing

More heat actually help Corono virus it's not spread much so organizor decides to leave door open for up coming IPL, it's too late to transfer or cancel.(in Italy 2 games continued as organizer locked the stadium but game continue)

No way you can transfer IPL, where you can transfer?

Dharamsala readies for cricket amidst COVID-19 scare

March 11 2020

There is a possibility of rain playing a spoilsport on match day

It's the rising alarm over Coronavirus, more than the 'cricket virus' itself, that has engulfed Dharamsala this game weekend. One of the more popular tourist destinations in India, Dharamsala, and neighbouring McLeodganj are unscathed as of now but the concern, for one, isn't any bit misplaced with over 50 confirmed cases reported countrywide and counting. WUHAN now has a completely different meaning outside the HPCA Stadium, with hoardings at every 10m distance spelling out hygiene precautions and preventive measures:

W: Wash hands

U: Use mask

H: Have temperature checked regularly

A: Avoid large crowd

N: Never touch face with unclean hands

The widespread fright has led to the authorities postponing the Shooting World Cup and the final round of Santosh Trophy. The ticket sales for country's first major sporting event since a confirmed COVID-19 case - the ODI series opener between India and South Africa on Thursday - are stuck at 60 per cent even on the match eve, albeit poor weather forecast is a partial contributor to that. Even then, the BCCI remains defiant and cricket as such remains untouched.

Not surprising then that Bhuvneshwar Kumar's first press conference since his sport hernia surgery featured questions only on injury, rehab, disease and precaution. South Africa's media manager - presumably unaware of the pacer's interaction minutes before theirs, but fully anticipating the panic - offered a well-meaning statutory warning, 'No more than three different questions on Coronavirus will be entertained'.

And even amidst sombre questions and mood, Bhuvneshwar's sense of humor is intact. "Humne saliva use nahin kiya toh ball shaine kaise karenge? Fir maar padegi toh aap hi log kahogi bowling acchi nhin karte ho," was his quick retort that had the gathering in splits. Loosely translated, when asked about the team's stand on shaking hands with the opposition and using saliva to shine the white ball in the wake of exponentially growing threat of the disease, the pacer tiptoed around the subject with the hosts supposedly yet to have a formal sit-down with the medical professionals. "We have thought about it but I can't say for sure right now. Because, if we don't use saliva then how will we shine the ball. And then if we consequently leak runs, you people will be the first to critisize us for poor bowling.

"But, yes, it's a valid point. We have a team doctor with us and he will advice us on it. We have a meeting due with the doctor later in the day, we'll go with the instructions we get from or whatever is the best option. It all depends on the team doctor and what advise he gives us," he added.

South African captain Quinton de Kock though remains very clear what his team's stance is on the subject; his quick 'yes' obviously backed by the fact that the tourists had undergone screening test and a formal risk assessment process was carried out in advance. "You know, I understand there's some fine lines, but we have sat down and it seems like both teams are healthy. We've been tested on our way in here, so I'll think we're still shining the ball. I think our team doctors and management have made sure that all are fit and don't have Coronavirus. So we'll still attend to that to keep the ball shining," de Kock noted.

South Africa though are fully apprised of the outbreak situation in India and have taken a rather precautionary route as far as their public outings go due to the highly infectious nature of the disease. They've restricted themselves to just one nets session on the eve of the matches in all of the three host cities, also limiting the pre and post media interaction to what's stipulated and fan engagement to bare minimum. The travel between venues is via chartered flights to ensure utmost level of care and safety for its players and staff.

Significant concerns have also been raised from various quarters over the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Bhuvneshwar, again, sidestepped the question, refusing to speculate and thereby adding to the hysteria, and, more importantly, leaving it to the concerned authorities to take the final call.

"You cannot say anything right now if it's going to be dangerous [pose a threat to the IPL] because it's just started in India. But we are taking every precaution we can take. We have a team doctor with us and he is giving us instructions about dos and don'ts. So we hope it won't [spread] much further," he said.

Italy have suspended their Football League until further notice. Spain have just announced that they are doing likewise.

I think it would be very irresponsible to host the IPL as scheduled. There are even rumours of the Euro Football Championship (scheduled for June) being postponed until next year
