Nirvani Umrao Getting Married with Hetmyer On Christmas Day

Post by Harmer » ... 38848?s=20

The last few days have been nothing less than a dream for West Indies star Shimron Hetmyer. The hard-hitting batsman recently earned a lucrative IPL contract from Delhi Capitals. He would have feared the worst after being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the auction. Shimron Hetmyer was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 4.2 crore in the last auction.

However, he failed to live up to the hype surrounding him. Shimron Hetmyer managed to score just 90 runs from 5 games as the Royal Challengers Bangalore failed to make it to the playoffs once again. Unsurprisingly, the Royal Challengers released him ahead of the auction for the next season of the IPL.

But the release turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the highly-rated batsman as he earned a lucrative deal of INR 7.75 from Delhi Capitals. The Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders went after the hard-hitting batsman before the national capital-based secured his services. Hetmyer became the second-most expensive West Indian player in this auction after fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell, who was bought by Kings XI Punjab for Rs 8.50 crore.

More good news:

Just few days after getting the IPL contract, Shimron Hetmyer got yet another reason to celebrate and finish 2019 on a stunning note. On Christmas, he proposed his girlfriend Nirvani Umrao for marriage and got a positive response.

Nirvani herself took to Instagram to reveal the news. Posting a picture of herself wearing the ring as well as two other pictures with her fiancee, she wrote:

“My love asked me to marry him on Christmas Day and I said yes!!! I love you baby”

Shimron Hetmyer, meanwhile, had a fine outing in India this month. He finished the three-match T20I series as West Indies’ top run-scorer before scoring a match-winning 85-ball century in the first ODI.
