Bribane Heat v Adelaide Strikers.
The Gabba.
Brisbane Squads/Players

Max Bryant, Joe Burns, Ben Cutting, Brendan Doggett, Sam Heazlett, Marnus Labuschagne, Chris Lynn, (c)Brendon McCullum, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, James Pattinson, Jimmy Peirson, Jack Prestwidge, Matt Renshaw, Alex Ross, Mark Steketee, Mitchell Swepson,

Adelaide Strikers Squads/Players
Wes Agar, Alex Carey, Michael Cormack, David Grant, Colin Ingram, Ben Laughlin, Jake Lehmann, Michael Neser, Liam O Connor, Rashid Khan, Matthew Short, Peter Siddle, Billy Stanlake, Jake Weatherald , Jonathan Wells, Nick Winter, Cameron Valente, Travis Head,

The Heat are slight 1.80 favourites at home over last years champs the Strikers.
McCullum and Lynn are key for the Heat. A great watch is Labuschagne a real prospect IMO.

Alex Carey and Billy Stanlake for Adelaide Carey being unlucky not to don the gloves for Australia.

A real close one to open the series.

Strikers v Heat result.
Strikers win by 5 wickets thanks to another fine Alex Carey innings.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8044 ... ash-league

A ridiculous decision by the third umpire marred the game.

It helps its on during the holiday season, kids can go to the games

the T20 internationals were squeezed in at the end of spring and there was some inclement and cold weather

Perth vs Melbourne.

Perth dismissed under 20 overs for 103 odd with 28 from Klinger

So far bowlers day,IPL-19, sensational Turner out for 13 and Mitchell Marsh for 3.Ken Richardson & Christian both un-lucky for IPL auction other day, took 3 wickets each

Afghanistan's Shinwari & Wildermuth too bowls well with couple of wickets each.

Worst starts by Melbourne as they lost 4 wickets in 3.5 overs for 17 runs
Vs Coulter Nile & Behendorff

72 for 4 now

Nabi (35) and Sam Harper (33*)put on
Match winning 68 runs stand off Willey /Tye/Qadir etc.Agar just removed Nabi but Melbourne Crushing with 19 need for win

I was out.

I assume game was in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium?
That place has been there for about 20 years.

It was built for Australian Rules Football.

Bad rule change if it hits the roof now it’s a six, there was a ball that went straight up tonight and Turner got 6 runs... who the f**k thought of that one.

Dead ball was always fair

What's more the guy is so cool under pressure. He came in at 4 for SFA and won the game for the Reds.

(very) old MCG scoreboard in use at the Canberra Manuka ground. The one prior to the first video screen. I think it was in use there in 1981.

I didn't realise there's also a test match being played at this venue later in the summer.

I thought they were playing at west sydney because its a Thunder home game

IPL people wants him to take wickets because they have enough batsman, Nabi is allrounder his job is take regular wickets as well.

If Sam Curran not able to take wickets and only make runs we do not wants him in 2020 IPL

Maxwell shouldn't be captain of any team. Too stupid.

IPL rejected Sangha

he's only 19 and he'll only get better and more expensive next time

some franchise could've got him cheap and now a missed opportunity

it seems like there's been barely a telecast match in Australia this season that hasn't been interrupted by rain at some point

Aus did right thing in not Picking Stoinis in test cricket. Our family watch him on TV, talked each other'" he is the one who hits 146 " And Girls say" Who care? He looks handsome"

I think Wisden should honour him this year ( if not too late) for his outstanding performance in Limited cricket

Sydney Thunder v Melbourne Stars,

Result.

A win to the Thunder.

The 19 year old Jason Sangha was the batting star. Keep an eye on him.

Left with 90 to get off 8 overs Maxwell gets a duck.

I was thinking that when it was announced, also his the most inconsistent player in the world so added pressure was not needed.

But yea his definitely not a leader

Inconsistent ? okayed, not even root and Kohli consistent in T20 League

Let Maxi open the innings in t20's, Give him some time, his Batting help his team in later stages of match, point is, you must need him in power play

The Sixers whether they win or lose usually depends on Moises.

Perth were poor last match and MM was no help going early again. He is surely due?
