Not the same as smashing Brahmins.
Though a lot of people have conflated the two.
Brahminical refers to the structure of hierarchy in society, not brahmins as such.
And Patriarchy, we all know about (or I hope we do?)
Hence my call to smash Brahminical Patriarchy.
That’s bullshit argument.
Granted, 100 years back there existed a bad caste hierarchy system in Hinduism that suppressed Dalits. Barring few stray incidents, It was virtually non existent today, look around. Dalits have upperhand & well off than many other castes including Brahmins. Calling it Brahmin patriarchy is offensive.
Today, Dalits have advanced over Brahmins in India in everything, have much better life standards, protected by government. Just because some Brahmins caused Dalit oppression, a century ago, it was foolish & idiotic to punish their grandsons today.
The British did so many heinous crimes in India for many centuries. Where is your playcard for “British patriarchy”? No?
How about playcard of “moghul patriarchy” that has looted, raped, killed many Hindus over centuries? No? No balls?
In fact it was not just Brahmins but 20 other upper castes that follow this inhuman practice centuries ago. Kshtriyas are the real culprits who had the power & sword that oppressed Dalits in reality, not the Brahmins. If any it should be a kshatriya patriarchy!
Brahmins are mostly docile, god fearing, that believe in karma philosophy that prevent most from doing bad deeds. Rarely you see any Brahmin committing a crime compared to other castes. They are basically good citizens compared to others that follow Gandhian non violence practiced to the fullest and that also make them soft targets. If you kick a Brahmin you get no retribution or revenge. As they are very studious and well respected for their knowledge, anti-Hindu outfits target them often. Soft targets are easy indeed.
Today Indian infrastructure is such that 60% reservations are given to Dalits in everything. You name it, you see them in most govt positions or educational institutions what not. The Dalits get benefits at the expense of other citizens of India all in the name of support for oppressed. This quota system should have been long abolished but politicians continued it for personal political gains as even election candidates for constituencies themselves should be of Dalit castes, who become political leaders to pass laws that continue Dalit reservation practice (conflict of interest anyone?). So if there is no such “Brahmin patriarchy” today there is no need for these reservation system etc underserved benefits, so now and then people of self interest & political benefiters put a cog in that fire now and then, and foolish naive people like raja fall for it. If there is no patriarchy there would be no freebee benefits. Everyone that hold a playcard of this “joke” has a selfish agenda, none have any interest of actual Dalits towards suppression if any. The media find it as easy target to make an issue out of non issue as there is no fear or retribution, Hindus are too easy to divide and rule.
Can anybody from same playcard champions has balls to hold a playcard of “Islamic patriarchy”? Will you hold one? Stand Outside saudi embassy ? No? How about a playcard of “vahabi patriarchy”? No? Wet your pants in fear of fatwa? Exactly my point.
Brahmins/hinduism are easy targets as no bounty would be made by a Brahmin priest to kill you. You can say whatever you want and get away with it. Recently Shia Muslims are killed by sunni in saudi arabia at a prayer place of all the places. Are they not Muslims too who believe in same god? What was stopping you to hold a playcard of “sunni patriarchy” as your dp in support of Shia Muslims? You do believe in it too right? Why not? Cat got your tongue? How about calling “sunni terrorism” instead of calling “Islamic terrorism” as 99% of terrorists are of sunni origins, poor Shia need to share the blot on humanity. If you don’t have balls to do it, shut the fk up and remove that offensive hate filled caption as your dp. You disappoint me indeed. So naive.
