No Easy groups, but B D and G looks the most difficult to me.

I think Germany along with Brazil might be the favorites.

Spain will struggle... Iniesta and Xavi are not doing well this season.

Spain have got loads of depth, they're not reliant on those two by any means

France and Argentina were pretty lucky. Quite easy group.

France have great players on all positions, but struggles to play as a team.

Believe me they are.

Of course Spain have many really good players, but Iniesta and Xavi were on top of their games from 2008 til 2012 and now they are going down.

Spain has been very depending on these two and there might be other in the team, but not in same league.

I still think Spain will be in last 4, but since Xavi and Iniesta is struggling atm they are not fav. to win.

England are clear favourites to win this World Cup.
In my mind, at least.

Netherlands and Germany all the way, baby. Netherlands is my team this world. For 23 years it has been Brazil but I am changing sides this time. Love the Germans as well, loaded with great middle fielders. Khedira is a best box to box defender in the world and they have a lot of explosiveness in offence.

Spain's reign is over. Xavi and Iniesta as AK mentioned are past their prime and that was their biggest strength, their midfield.

Surprise would be the Argentinians, very easy group.

Khedira unfortunately picked an injury 1 month ago is out for the rest of the season and is out of WC as well.

But he is one of many many good players Germany have.

Khedira is a bulldog. I am sure he will be back. Basketball players have the same injury i.e ACL and they come back in about 7 months. I heard last week that there is a 50-50 chance of him playing in the WC. Fingers crossed! The guy is a workhorse at both ends.

Belgium is the 5th favorite at 14-1.. AK, do they have a good team?

Brazil 3-1, Argentina 5-1, Germany 11-2, Spain 7-1, Belgium 14-1..Belgium ahead of Netherlands, does this make sense?

Belgium have a few Premier League stars but whether that can translate into WC success is another matter. the Premier League gets a lot of TV coverage but the best league it is not.

Belgium have a golden generation coming through.
They have many young upcoming stars who people predict might come good in WC. There is no doubt that they have better players then Netherland currently.
They are up there with France and Italy ahead of Portugal and Netherland and behind Germany and Spain when it comes to player material.

They recently lost to both Japan and Columbia at home, but won their qualifying group to qualify directly to WC. Might have tried some new combinations in those friendlies...

They will win all their group games, no doubt.

In context - they are a very good Belgian side. A very young side too. They do not appear to be the same level as Germany and Spain etc though.

Of the groups only Brazil, Argentina and Belgium look like they can count on a place in the next round already.

Australia, USA and Iran (maybe) appear out of their depth.

Probably. So quite a good draw for us - zero expectation to go through. Would have been worse if we got an "easy" group.

Wont be good if we get humped three times though.

Yay Lucas Neill - still playing on.

Algeria, Korea and Russia will be no problem for Belgium. Will win the group, no doubt. They simply have better players.

Btw last world cup was a total disgrace by France. Hope they put up a much better show this time and do justice to their talent.

Yea I stick to that.

There are not few, but many!

Hazard biggest star, key player for Chelsea
Company key player for City
Vantongen key player for Tottenham
Vermalen key player for Arsenal
Lukaku key player for Everton
Beneteke Key player for Aston Villa
Mignolet has been along with Suarez Liverpool best player and he is just the reserve keeper.
Fellaine is now playing for Manchester United
Mousa Dembélé and Nacer Chadli Tottenham
Kevin Mirallas key player for Everton
De Bruyne plays for Chelsea

And these just those who plays in PL.

Their Keeper Thibaut Courtois who is one of the best plays for Atl.Madrid.

no particular team
i think La Liga and Bundesliga are stronger leagues
