Actually 7s is on TV here and I catch it every now and then. I love the wide open play, but the games are stupidly short. If it was 30 or 40 minutes it would be a lot better. The only plus is that you can watch four matches an hour.

Yea, not sure if there would be too much running towards the end of a 40 minute match though. You still see some big scores as it is.

Synergy wrote:You can still get a exciting game between two evenly matched but low ranked teams. Doesn't necessarily mean that the quality of the game is as good. I do reckon a good Super 15 side can beat Italy and probably Scotland. So I am talking about sides like Bulls, Crusaders, Chiefs from last year, Sharks and so on.

I dont watch Super 15s, but if I recall Scotland actually beat the full Australian national side the last time they played (Home and Away). So....

;)

Yeah but it's Australia :D . Note how I didn't include any of the Australian Super 15 teams.

Are you still following the rugby internationals Super?

We were bit rusty against the French.

The last Wallabies vs Lions game was pretty good though. Hate to say it but the Aussies were pretty dam unlucky to lose that one.

Mind you Syn if your only equipment was boots wouldn't you make sure you had the right ones and enough of them? I thought that there was probably more positives for the Aussies to take away then the lions. But my god see the winger for the lions? B E A S T.

I've seen some Sevens here and there, but no, not really. I'll check when the games are and see if I'll be able to watch any of them.

Looks like sevens is still struggling to get a global audience. There were like 50 people in an 80000 (?) stadium watching the sevens world cup in Russia...

Hahaha. Not good, actually in the US the stadiums get more than that. Of course they play in Las Vegas which has other attractions.

Anyone see the game between South Africa and New Zealand today?

Probably would go down as one of the best games in recent times.

Synergy, you didn't remind me that the Six Nations had started again! Damn you, now I've missed the first two rounds. Oh well, round 3 in a couple weeks and I'll try to catch some of that.
