Bolt won 200 meter as well.

8 gold medals on the trot. Legend. All time great.

Bolt don't come across as a cheat. He's never been tested positive.

But you never know

They have retested some of the results from Beijing and some of the negative tests have turned positive.

A good thing that they can retest when new technology is available.

Bolt has not been tested positive.

She was leading 5000 meters big way. Danish commentator said he would cycle from DK to France if she did not win before the race. He was that confident.

All of a sudden with 1 round to go she got tired and two Kenyan got past her. She only got Bronze. I think she totally mistimed her entire race. Was going too fast.

neither has Santa Claus

the guy is going bald at 29, whilst not unusual in itself - it also happens to be a tell tail sign of years of steroid use

This is Bolt and his father

Probably a genetic thing that he is getting bald.

Justin Gatlin is not bald.

Come on
That's pure speculation.
You start believe in ghosts and paranormal stuff, you start seeing stuff that isn't there.
It's fine you believe he is doped, but your arguments are bullshit. Non existent.

he's surrounded by dopers, the jamaican athletics is institutional systematic doping, coaches have been implicated, arrested for doping
his performances are ridiculously unrealistic for a natural athlete

at some point you have to wake up and smell the hot sauce

Just watched women 800 meter with Caster Semenya, who is often accused of being a man.

She won comfortably. While all other collpses after crossing the finish line she just stood like she never run. hahah

This was a terrific Olympics for Great Britain.

Australia had a rather poor Games, I thought. But for a long time now, they're not quite the force they used to be.

India managed 1 silver, 1 bronze - that too, very late. Poor results compared to the last time, but I have a lot of hope for 2020. I feel there will be a lot more investment in sports in India now, more private players, more sponsorships, more training abroad and all that. The less you depend on the govt, the better.

Good read.

GB has been smartly focussing on events which are medal-rich. Talent-spotting athletes, and giving them a system to develop in. Importantly, the athletes need to have a serious medal-drive themselves.

IMO - as long as the athlete wants to take the drug, they should be allowed in sport. This is not 500BC in Greece. Let us not kid ourselves that certain athletes do not have an unfair advantage over others (in terms of medical care, financial support, nutrition etc.). In fact some athletes can legally dope with their TUEs.
