Phil Simmons has returned as coach and the squad for the Afghanistan tour was named today. Hayden Walsh Jr, who played for the USA in their inaugural ODI this year has been named in the squad along with Brandon King, who had a very good CPL campaign. Simmons' nephew Lendl has earned a recall. T20I s...

Re: Irish Cricket

Stuart Poynter has effectively retired from international Cricket in favour of extending his contract with Durham. No real surprise here as he has not featured since the Afghanistan tour last Spring. His Test debut on that tour was his final international having also played 21 ODIs and 25 T20Is. htt...

Re: 10 underrated Cricketer of Test cricket

I think Tim Murtagh barely gets any recognition - despite being a high quality cricketer for Ireland. But given 1 test match a year, that will not change any time soon. He's recognised on the Lord's honours board at least - and he's in good company too I might add. Based solely on his Test career, ...

Picturesque Cricket Grounds

I don't think we have ever had a thread on Cricket grounds in spectacular settings. To get the ball rolling, here is one I saw on Twitter today. Lynton CC in Devon, England https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9e/Lynton_and_Lynmouth_Cricket.jpg Post your pics here. They don't necessarily...
